Hi, do you have any suggestions for books suitable for a bookclub among co-workers? Preferably fiction, not very new (it has to be translated in my native language and books that are very new are not available yet in my country).
For now we are 4 women, 3 of us between 20-30 years old and the fourth is a 40-something year old mother of two kids.
I would say something quite short that catches you quick and can keep everyone engaged. They are not heavy readers. Nothing very graphic or violent. Thank you
Edit: one colleague suggested Flowers for Algernon which seems like a good idea and I was thinking about A thousand spendid suns (it’s on my tbr but I’m not sure if it’s suitable)
