I am not looking for a book that's like a history text book explaining how people lived during medieval times. I'm looking more like something written by the people at that time from their perspective (and translated into modern English).
That might be vague. I was suggested a book of historical events where people believed werewolves were attacking them. Instead of the author telling you what happened he just quotes the people who were originally there and a brief description of what was said in court and things like that. It often reads more like something you would read in a newspaper and from it you get an idea of how the people lived their lives during that time. I'm wondering if there more books like this but about any other topic and focused on medieval times.
