I am looking for my next non-fiction read. I LOVED Isaac's Storm and Five Days at Memorial (but am looking for something non-hurricane related next). What I loved about both was the fact that neither was a historical event I was familiar with, both were written wonderfully and kept my attention, and both were moving and impactful. Both had high levels of research but weren't boring.
Suggestions?
Other non-fiction books I've loved recently: Power Broker, Boys in the Boat, In the Heart of the Sea
