Hi!
I am not a great reader by any chance. Actually I am slowly getting back into it.
I think that all the reading that you have to do as a part of your education when you are young turned me opposite as far as reading goes.
I love games and also I wanted to dive in to something and start reading again, slowly. I went for a book by the name of Tom Clancy's The Division Recruited by THOMAS. PARROTT. It is really great. Catches the atmosphere of the PC game perfectly. But I just kind of stopped when I was back in reality and back to work.
I now want to go back and finish that book and maybe one other. English is not my native language, but I still love english word. And the books don't get printed in my native language (that is not a problem since I want to train my english with that too).
My question to you more experience readers is, do you go back to the book and read it where you left of, or start again?
By the way, I was a third done with the book and I still kind of remember what it was about. Yes yes, I am a slow reader, who needs to re-read the first to pages almost 3 times before the books takes me and I start to swallow it. That is my problem with reading mostly. I read a page, but when I want to turn the page I start thinking, " What happened there?". I repeat that a few times since my mind just wanders around and then sometimes I got bored before even actually start reading.
Sorry for my random ramble. This is my first post here and hopefully (at least for me hehe) not last.
Also, I am sorry if this is not a right sub, but I don't know where else to put my question in…
Have a great day and thanks for every advice in advance!
