i enjoy memoirs that allow me to gain insight on the author's way of life, doesn't have to be a celebrity. typically i'd lean towards darker memoirs as i find myself learning more from these books.
here are some that i've read so far:
(i think about it a lot, really really love it)
– the glass castle
– i'm glad my mom died
– educated
– when breath becomes air
– born a crime
(enjoyed, but didn't really stick with me)
– the woman in me
currently reading 'from here to the great unknown', enjoying it a lot as well.
very unpopular opinion but i dnf'd 'know my name' by chanel miller @60%. it was way too long and the writing style wasn't my favourite; it felt very disconnected
