I LOVE Hozier's music. I've read a couple books that have referenced his music as inspiration and I've loved each one. Problem is, I've only found about 2 that fit the bill and I can't seem to find anymore by just browsing.
My favorite song of his is Talk, the way it grabs my attention and gets me in a mood to sink my teeth into a good romance novel with a morally grey love interest is wicked. It references the story of Eurydice and Orpheus and sets a vibe of a taboo romance, with a slightly arrogant tone I cant quite explain. Music can be interpreted in many ways but I've always felt powerful after listening to the song, it takes my breath away much like books do. So why not combine the two?
Books that just remind you of his music is fine as well! If you're not familiar with his music (which I highly recommend) novels inspired by eurydice and Orpheus or Greek mythology in general is welcomed. Always super excited to find more Greek mythology inspired literature 😊 thank you!
