Per the title, I have a book club with my 10 year old niece and would love some suggestions. She’s never really been into fantasy but loves history.
She absolutely loves reading, and I would like to find some books that she would enjoy. I’m also leaving the more well known books for her to read with her mother, such as The Secret Garden, Anne of Green Gables, etc.
*Please, nothing with a horrible ending such as Stone Fox. *
She has read and enjoyed:
Charlotte’s Web, The Railway Children, A Cricket in Times Square, any children’s history book about the Titanic – if I could find her a good historical fiction about the Titanic, that would be great but I haven’t been very happy with what there is for kids on this
