I haven't read since I was a teenager and I want to start reading before bed again. I remember enjoying learning about new worlds and stuff like how the laws of nature work there or the customs characters follow.
BUT ALSO I'm a romantic at heart so I would appreciate a couple or two to root for. Please no overly explicit material though.
As for my past likes, I loved YA authors like Cassandra Clare, LJ Smith, Meg Cabot. I read Pride and Prejudice recently and really enjoyed it. My favourite book of the very few I've read in the last few years was The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.
My last note is that quality of the writing is important to me. This was probably too much information but hopefully someone can help. Thank you! 🙂
