Looking for a beautifully written fantasy novel or series. I already know and love Guy Gavriel Kay, Robin Hobb, Lois McMaster Bujold, and Patricia McKillip.
I really enjoyed *The Traitor Baru Cormorant* by Seth Dickinson. Beautiful prose, wrenching plot, and a unique premise (with an accountant heroine).

“The Face in the Frost” by John Bellairs. Wizards being grumpy old men. Sort of a quick read. I really loved the prose – I think it was VERY well-written, sort of Charles Dickens-ish. And quite funny.
