I have read An Elderly Lady is Up to No Good and its sequel An Elderly Lady Must Not Be Crossed and was wondering if there are other books like that out there. Maud is the type of character I don't come across too often in books and I was hoping to find books that feature Maud-like characters. The recommendations don't necessarily have to feature murders, it's more me trying to find characters like Maud.

I have not read the series you mean but maybe The Woman Upstairs by Claire Messud
Maybe *The Sunset Years of Agnes Sharp* by Leonie Swan.
Ooh, following, because I loved those books, too!
How do you feel about horror? I adored the mc Muriel (sassy, stubborn, elderly widow) in The Haar by David Sodergren
I haven’t read either of those books, but from the sound of them, I think you’d enjoy *The Marlow Murder Club* by Robert Thorogood.
Maybe the Mrs. Pollifax series? In which a retired, bored lady decides to join the CIA and ends up traveling the world working as a spy.
I love the miss fortune books by Jana Deleon. Two of the main characters are elderly ladies who always get into trouble.
