Me and my friends are going to start a book club and we were struggling to think of some books for all of us to read together. Two girls and three boys all 21+ and would just love some good book suggestions.

We were hoping for some books that we can all bond over and enjoy, preferably sci-fi, fantasy, action, adventure, mystery, and/or romance as some baseline genres. Can mix genres or deviate but that's typically what we've been drawn to in the past. (Can be NSFW)

Thank you guys! We appreciate any and all suggestions 🙂

Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers is a great book club book. There’s a lot of meat to discuss, while being engaging, and sometimes silly. Good sci-fi, and the start of a good series. The other books in the series are about tangental characters, so there aren’t books that end on cliff hangers. Each book is complete.

Going to recommend the *Dungeon Crawler Carl* series by Matt Dinniman. It’s a wild, hilarious, dark, scary at times, and just the most phenomenal thing I’ve come across in a long time. I understand it’s a book club and you all are inclined to *read* the book I presume. I’ve always been of that mindset. With this series I cannot stress enough how much I would recommend doing the audiobooks though. The narrator, Jeff Hays, brings so much to the story with his incredible performance. He’s a full voice cast coming from one man.

    3. The Red Rising series by Pierce Brown is a lot of fun to read. Also, I recommend The Expanse series by James S. A. Corey. It’s a really great science fiction epic too.

My first thought was Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin.

The Midnight Library or How to Stop Time both by Matt Haig

Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro
