What the heading says. I’m scared and I cannot look at my phone anymore. Suggest a book that makes me forget about my phone. Past reads I have enjoyed are Swan Song, The Power, Leave the World Behind, Harry Potter series, How High We Go in the Dark. Thanks friends

    1. Red Rising by Pierce Brown (7 books and final book coming this year).

Blood over bright haven by ML Wang

The Magicians trilogy by Lev Grossman

    2. I just read Legends and Lattes for this very reason.

It’s a comforting, wholesome, low-stakes fantasy. Perfect no-stress nook to retreat into during these times.

    3. Little Fuzzy by H. Piper Beam. A man on the frontier of an “uninhabited” planet finds an adorable little creature who may qualify as intelligent life. The man makes friends with the creature and fights for fuzzy rights. It’s an adorable book that was way ahead of its time for being written in the 60’s

    4. The first law series by Joe Abercrombie. I’m in book two of the 2nd trilogy and they’ve been the best books I’ve read in years

If you want something cozy and heartwarming, try The House in the Cerulean Sea—it feels like a warm hug in book form.

If you want something dark and gripping, The Road is an intense, end-of-the-world story that’s hard to put down.

For a mind-bending, reality-blurring story, The Book of M will keep you hooked.

And if you want pure escape, The Night Circus is like stepping into a dream.

    6. We Are Legion We Are Bob if you’re into scifi with lots of pop culture references.

Snow Crash is also a fun one if you like cyberpunk.
