Hello! I’m a big fan of the resident evil and silent hill video game titles & am currently on the hunt to find a read that scratches the same itch as either of their respective narratives. (Recommendations do not need to adhere to both)
I’ve noticed that a majority of books that fit this description often have male protagonists- which isn’t bad, I’d just like a little variety. I want a woman that is written well. I like a character with flaws! One that doesn’t fall into the whole Mary Sue main character trope.
Additionally, I’d prefer recommendations don’t include a romance— if so, F/F is preferred.
