I’ve read some of the classics as well as On Stranger Tides. After reading The Wager and watching Black Sails, really looking for more pirate reads. What are your suggestions!

The Liveship Traders trilogy by Robin Hobb has a pirate as one of the main characters. This is a fantasy series, which is part of a much larger body of work (I think it’s 17 books in total). You could read Liveships as a standalone trilogy if you wanted to, but the entire series is awesome.

Under the Black Flag by David Cordingly is a historical account of piracy and pirates. Read it years ago. Really good, if you’re into history.
