I’m getting back into reading after getting rid of social media (except Reddit). I really loved The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. What are some other good historical fiction novels?
The Shardlake series by CJ Sansom is excellent. A hunchbacked lawyer solving murder mysteries in Tudor England and mixing with the royals and nobles of the time.

The Nightingale is fantastic! Gut wrenching story.
If you like horror, I recommend The Terror. It’s about the Franklin Expedition trying to find a Northwest Passage to India through the ice. The voyage is real, but the story adds some supernatural elements. It’s one of my favorites.
