I really like unconventional romances, but can't find many books that feature them. By unconventional, I mostly mean stuff like codependency, a generally toxic dynamic, on-and-off again, messy, etc. Just two little freaks with a weird relationship.
I recently read 'Deliver Me' by Elle Nash, and that really hit the spot, but the relationship wasn't as much of a focal point as I would have liked. 'Fragile Animals' by Genevieve Jagger was great too from what little of the romance was put on display.
I'm mostly into literary fiction, horrors, and thrillers. Not super into high fantasy or sci-fi but willing to take a stab if the premise seems cool enough. TIA!
