I got through a third of The Portrait of Dorian Gray and put it down. Before that I forced myself to get through The Devil in the White City and wish I hadn’t.
I’ve loved books from A Farewell to Arms to Sharp Objects to Tender is the Night to Killers of the Flower Moon, so I’m very open to trying different genres, time periods, fiction or historical, etc.
I feel paralyzed trying to make my next pick – please help!
