    Hi All,

So I am looking for a new series to start and stay on for a while hopefully but even a small 3 books series would be fine. Enough of them would take me on a few adventures for a while. I do devour a lot of books 40-50 a year. Every single series I am on or have started in the last 5 year the author has gone on break or switched to a new series so I am caught up and just waiting for the next one. So I am feeling unsatisfied currently.

I love pretty much Sci-Fi and/or Fantasy and usually with some sarcastic humor involved and would love to find a new series but one that is finished so I can just sit back and enjoy it and not be left hanging for the next book when I get all done.

Last year I found and completed the series involving
The Tails Books, Traders Tails, Smugglers tails, etc. All 19 by Nathan Lowell. Totally unexpected find, and not sure who this went under my radar for so long but I loved the entire universe. Would really love to find something like this again.

Then I started and just finished last night or well caught up to the author
Monster Hunter series – Larry Correia

Along those Sci Fi lines, the other series I am involved with and I love, but also caught up with the author.
    Bobiverse – Dennis E. Taylor
The Dresden Files – Jim Butcher
Spells, Swords, & Stealth – Drew Hayes
    Villains' Code – Drew Hayes
Fred, the Vampire Accountant series – Drew Hayes
    Grave Report – R.R. Virdi
Dragonlance – Multiple authors The series that started it all, I was 12 when this first came out (Yeah I am old)

I do have most everything and love everything by:
    Stephen King
    Ann Rice
    Neil Gaiman
    Orson Scott Card
Bernard Cornwell except the civil war stuff, not into civil war

Other more obscure series I have finished and just loved that readily come to mind.
The President's Vampire – Christopher Farnsworth
The Tale of Shikanoko – Lian Hearn
Tales of the Otori – Lian Hern
    Threshold Universe – Peter Clines
    Reemergence Series – Chris Philbrook
    Night Angel – Brent Weeks
    Infected – Scott Sigler

Thank you in advance, hopefully this wasn't too much info about what I like and would love to find.

      Ilona Andrews.

They do urban fantasy, with unique takes on vampires in one series, and vamps and shifters in another. Amazing world building. Smut level less than 1. Husband writes male parts, so realistic rather than idyllic.

I’d recommend the Kate Daniels series to start. Do check their website for reading order as they have done a few spin-offs. The main series is complete (10 books) but they have done a further 2 books (The Wilmington Years) for life after the main series. There is no true cliff hanger on this series, but has potential for more.

They are in physical, digital, audio – all fully complete, graphics audio for the main series complete by May this year if that’s your bag (my son loves the graphics audio).

Another author I enjoy, has completed several series, is Debbie Cassidy (these are a little spicier ranging from 1-2.5).

Also there is CP Rider, main series complete (smut 1).

An oldie, but goodie is Anne McCaffrey. My personal favourite (read the physical book so many times I went through 2 copies!) is The Restoree. She has done more series than Pern, some sci-fi, some fantasy.

    2. If you like alien invasion you may enjoy Orphanage by Robert Buettner. It’s a five book series.
