A book that could give me a basic understanding of socialism, capitalism, communism, etc?
I know people say to read more classic texts like The Communist Manifesto and equivalents for the others, and I probably will at some point, but right now I’m interested in a Cliff’s notes kind of thing.
If you are looking for just one volume I’m not sure, but I like OUP’s “A Very Short Introduction” series. They’re out there on basically every topic imaginable and usually at least reasonably well done.
