At first, I thought it was just gonna be some rich dude struggling in a village, maybe learning a lesson or two. And yeah, that’s kinda what happens—but also it’s completely unhinged. Aryan (the main guy) is such an arrogant little shit at the start that I was rooting for the universe to smack him down. And oh man, it delivers**.** Monsoons, broken cars, village aunties roasting him in WhatsApp groups—it’s brutal, hilarious, and a total mess in the best way.

Then, out of nowhere, it gets real. Like, I expected jokes and chaos, not actual feelings. Somewhere along the way, Aryan goes from “spoiled clown” to “oh damn, I kind of feel bad for him.” And Rani? She’s a menace. Every conversation between them is either hilarious, vicious, or weirdly intense.

The writing? Fast, sharp, and full of insults. The story? Somewhere between a comedy, a disaster movie, and an existential crisis. Did it make me laugh? Yes. Did it make me feel things I wasn’t prepared for? Also yes.

I don’t know what to rate books, but if I did? 10/10, would get emotionally wrecked again.

Who is the author? I was trying to add it to my TBR on Goodreads and it has no reviews and author is listed as “plot twist”.
