I love a chunky novel as much as the next guy, however I like more bite sized stories for my commute or when my day is busy. Some collections I’ve read and loved-Stephen’s Kings Different seasons and Night Shift, Algernon Blackwoods Wendigo and Willows, Joe Hill’s Full throttle, H.P Lovecrafts complete works, Edgar Allen Poes complete works.
This whole group is very cosmic horror and gothic era writers, which if you know more in the same vein don’t hesitate to drop a suggestion. However, I would like to broaden my horizons a little so if you feel a shorter form story or collection doesn’t fit this theme but you thought it was good do not hesitate to suggest it!
