Wants to love reading. Doesn’t read. Where should I start?

I am a 35+ year old man who will have a lot of downtime the next few months. It’s not that I don’t like reading, I just haven’t found a lot of good books as the process for picking totally overwhelms me. Where should I start if I want to fall in love with reading?
