I’m a sucker for tearjerkers. My friends always laugh at me for wanting to watch the most depressing movies (usually A24- a ghost story, the whale, etc). I’m new to romance books because quite honestly most i’ve read are corny (not a colleen hoover fan minus verity). I’ve been trying some booktok books and loved the songs of achilles and the seven husbands of evelyn hugo had to be one of the greatest books i’ve ever read. i consider it a perfect book: writing style, dramatic, eye catching, heartbreaking. I want a book that I go Wow too but have been struggling to find one. Any recommendations? Maybe something similar to the vibes of 500 days of summer, Little Women, broke back mountain or La La Land?
