I know the title sounds weird, but I really want some book recs where the MC falls in love with their love interest, and they end up in a relationship, but then the love interest hurts the MC (Emotionally, Physically, anything) and the MC doesn’t forgive them.
I want it to be as sad as possible. Silence treatments, angst, guilt, regret, no forgiveness from the MC side, mental torture of the love interest, and etc.
(no kinks, no sadism, no weird shit. just pain)
And no, they can’t end up together.
