I don’t read lots but I want to. I’ve never enjoyed a romance book but I want to 😵💫😵💫😵💫
I find what turns me off is : fantasy, too much smut (I love sex but I want it to have a plot too lol), sexism / enemies to lovers but when it’s actually him being a dick I can’t handle sexist and conservative viewpoints like that in my escapism.
I know good books exist. I’ve tried normal people as I’ve heard it’s okay, but honestly I’m beginning to think I’m too old to read about college love. Plus I’m not a fan of it not having quotations when they speak. I want a late twenties early thirties kinda love with realism and messiness but good good love.
Movies/ Tv shows I would love to see as books / to help you pinpoint my style : the tv show “Love” , the movies “the worst person in the world” or “dinner in America”
