Hey helpful folks,
I'm looking for books that are about someone who has been trying to get into a particular career and "make it big" but they go through an extended period of stagnation before finding success. I would prefer nonfiction, but I'm open to anything. This is actually a request for a friend of mine who has been trying to get into the world of comedy but hasn't been able to get it off the ground.
