My friends and i want to do a book club where we each read 1 book in a series and piece together the story together. Preferably something with shorter books, but they don't have to be short if such a thing doesn't exist. Thanks for the help!

First of all, I wanna say that’s a fucking awesome idea and I’m totally proposing that to my friend group. As for four book series, there’s a surprising lack of them, at least in my reading list, but here’s the best I’ve got:
*The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System* by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu is four books and on the shorter side
*The Hunger Games* by Suzanne Collins is four books if you include the prequel, *The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes*, but that’s a pretty well known story so it might not work for what you have in mind
*Twilight* by Stephanie Meyer is also four books, but has the same problem as the previous one and is far from short
The books of babel by Josiah Bancroft has 4, although they might be kinda longish
