I just finished watching The Irishman and loved it. I’d like to read some books along similar lines. As a millennial, the mafia wasn’t as much of a thing by the time I was born. I’m also interested in labor history, and the questions it brought up about how the union was genuinely benefitting working people, but did the ends justify the means? Where is the line between illegal and immoral?
Thanks for any suggestions!
