EDITED TO ADD: forgot I loved the great gatsby, it was (loosely bc we didn’t have mansion money, just oriental trading money lol) the theme of my 16th birthday party
Hi!
I made it my New Year’s resolution to read more. I didn’t set a quantifiable goal because I didn’t want there to be any pressure.
Anyways, believe it or not we’re through January and I’ve yet to start reading… anything.
I’m hoping you all can help. I used to LOVE reading, but pandemic, college, career change, life etc. (excuses, excuses I know lol) came about and now here I am and I don’t really even know what I like anymore and it’s been probably 5 years since I have read a book.
Here are some books I either really liked or loved at various points in life:
(when I was younger): percy jackson, spiderwick chronicles, hunger games, maze runner
(high school): hamlet, romeo and juliet, the great gatsby, to kill a mockingbird, anything rupi kaur, amanda lovelace and john green
(adult): ???
Going to a bookstore tomorrow and literally have no idea what to pick up. Any help is much appreciated!
