Hello there, my fellow readers! (Heh, who am I kidding? I basically have no time to actually read)
I would like to hear your opinion on what fiction genre you think is the hardest one to write a book in. By this, I mean, what genre requires the most research/qualification/experience for the author to write quality books in it? Personally, I think it's crime thriller, psychological horror/thriller and historical fiction. What are your thoughts?

I think to write well in any genre takes a lot of research and talent. I’m intimidated by fantasy and sci-fi. I don’t know anything about science or outer space, and the idea of creating a lore in fantasy makes me break out in hives.
Definitely romance.
‘Mystery’ for sure. Whenever I try, the reveal is either too obvious, or not obvious enough. It’s a very hard balance to get right.
