I dont re-read. I already know the twists and turns. They’re not exciting on a second reading.

I usually don’t forget everything I read in a book but stuff I could have looked over during my first read. So for me it just depends on my mood and if I want to re-read that story again. I actually find some books more enjoyable on the second read because I’m not rushing to get to the juicy parts. If you’re looking for a time frame though it can take about 2+ years before I forget what has happened in a book.
