Looking for recommendations for books with detailed, intricate magic systems. Preferably ones that have "rules" to the system instead of nebulous magic like that of LoTR and Harry Potter.
I've read a tremendous portion of the popular scifi and fantasy genre so more interested in relatively obscure stuff. I've already ready Wheel of Time, everything by Brandon Sanderson, Foundryside, and the Warded Man – to name a few of the more relevant books/series that might fit this request.
