Hello! I’d appreciate suggestions for the next book series for me to read. I’m 37m and in my teens loved Harry Potter followed by series like Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Mortal Instruments, several Dan Brown novels, the first Wicked book (after seeing the play) and the Reckoners. ASOIAF would put me to sleep with the very detailed narratives, but I got through them on audiobook and really enjoyed them (but my lifestyle doesn’t currently lend itself to audiobooks).
I hadn’t really read for more than a decade until I picked up the Wheel of Time series after loving the first two seasons of the show. Since September 2023, I’ve read near nightly on my kindle (with a clicker/stand/charging setup in bed) and I’ve never been more consistent. I’m now ~60% through the 14th (final) Wheel of Time novel, and don’t want to give up on reading once I finish it.
Thank you!

My go-to book series when I am worried I’m going to stop reading is the Jack Reacher books. They have that perfect comfort book thing where they’re all basically predictable and the same, but they never cease to be fun. He stumbles on some bad people doing some bad things, he looks into it until he gets to the bottom of the whole thing, he kills everyone involved.
The Expanse . No question
Neal Shusterman’s Arc of a Scythe series!
