Hi all! I'm looking to read a biography on Frida Kahlo. Books about her in general or anything she wrote or contributed to is cool to recommend also.
I mainly am just curious if she has an autobiography or if not, which book or books about her are the best? Cause there are a ton, but I know there's usually one or two top favorites in situations similar.
Anything you could suggest, I'll be grateful for. Thanks in advance!

Hayden Herrera is good.
Here are two highly recommended books about Frida Kahlo:
[**Frida: A Biography of Frida Kahlo**](https://amzn.to/4hmtymZ) by Hayden Herrera
This is one of the most authoritative biographies on Frida Kahlo, providing an in-depth look at her life, art, relationships, and struggles. It inspired the 2002 movie *Frida* starring Salma Hayek.
[**The Diary of Frida Kahlo: An Intimate Self-Portrait**](https://amzn.to/4hOl5c4)
This is a fascinating glimpse into Frida’s mind, featuring personal diary entries, sketches, and thoughts in her own words. It’s an artistic and emotional experience rather than a traditional biography.
I attached the links in the titles above to their Amazon pages for you to check them out. Enjoy!
