I’m newly back into reading, a pastime favorite hobby of time! I feel like I’ve missed out on some major hits! I’m open to anything but have always been drawn to the deeply mysterious and often upsetting dramas. I love a twist and I LOVE a romance.
Tell me what book you think of when you wish you could read it for the very first time?

The Bear Town series by Fredrik Backman.
I would read it far slower so that I could make it last longer.
I know they are not exactly considered arts of literature, but the throne of glass series. By the end I was so sad it was over! And I’ll never get all of those “oh!” moments again
I think about this a lot. Here are mine:
– The Road and No Country for Old Men by Cormac McCarthy
– Blindness by Jose Saramago
– Shalimar the Clown by Rushdie
– The Secret History by Donna Tartt
– The Giving Tree (I know it’s a “children’s” book, but it just hits all the feels.)

Off the top of my head mine are “the girl with the dragon tattoo” series and “the great alone” Kristin Hannah
I’m already so excited to look into these suggestions! Thank you!
Clan of the Cave Bear
Ender’s Game
Trainspotting
Fear and loathing in Las Vegas
All Foundation books. Specifically Prelude to Foundation and Forward the Foundation.

If I go back in time and I’m ten years old again? Either Johnny Tremaine, Toby Tyler, or Tom Sawyer.
