Hello! My AP lit class is doing a bookclub and we have 3 options to choose from: In The Time of the Butterflies by Julia Alvarez, Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston, and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. We will have quizzes, discussions, and an essay over the book. Could anyone give me a description of each book and a recommendation for which they would pick? I want something interesting but not too difficult to understand, interpret, or assignments over. Thanks!
