I’ve just finished reading all of the novels Jeff VamderMeer has released thus far. Who else has a similar style and focuses on Weird Fiction/Sci-fi/Fantasy?

As the title suggests I have now read all of his books and while I am waiting patiently for whatever he puts out next, I would love to find more authors that satisfy that itch to have my brain twisted into a pretzel.

Specifically looking for stories that strike the same tone as the Area X series or the Ambergris trilogy.
