There is nothing I don’t love about my kindle paperwhite. The subscription aspect of kindle unlimited, makes me irrationally angry. Amazon already makes you pay for prime Prime Video, Amazon Music Audible anything extra from their services and I just feel really annoyed that Kindle unlimited is another charge. There are some books that are offered free for prime and most first books in your series are free so that’s cool but I’m not paying to finish a series.
Edit: you can also download books from your local library, which is great for free so I like that aspect too. Some of the books that I like to read, though are not offered at the library because of their content, booktok. And those are always the ones that are on Kindle unlimited only.

Pros: mine is roughly 5 years old and still working pretty good, haven’t found a book which wasn’t readable as an ebook, ebooks are always a little cheaper than paperbacks, you can read in the dark, doesn’t hurt your eyes (like a phone would)
Cons: you don’t get a real book, it’s only in black and white because it’s old (newer ones have colour)
