I'm trying to find a book/books where any of the following points are prevalent (bonus points for more than one point in a single book):
–humans can turn or get turned into Fae.
–the fae world is secret from the human world
–a main character overcomes/heals from abuse, particularly domestic or sexual abuse
–monsters can infiltrate the world, a la Pacific Rim or something similar.
