I have a long drive ahead of me (7-8 hours), and I'd like something to listen to. I like fantasy and sci fi, but anything that's well written is fine, including non-fiction (I like history), so long as it's interesting and has a good reader.
Books I like:
Game of Thrones (ASOIAF)
Dungeon Crawler Carl
The Last Unicorn
Watership Down
Hunchback of Notre Dame
1984
Treasure Island
Slaughterhouse Five
The Expanse Series (I only read the first one so far)
LOTR
Silence of the Lambs
Books I dislike:
Anything by Piers Anthony
Books by Dean Koontz
The Lightning Thief
Count of Monte Cristo
1Q84 (not terrible, just not for me)
Wicked (DNF)
thank you!

The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie. Fantastic narration by Steven Pacey.
I mean ,the greatest audiobook I’ve ever listened to (and I’ve listened to around 180) is:
Blood Meridian – Cormac McCarthy (narrated by Richard Poe).
Absolutely phenomenal both by McCarthy’s writing and Poe’s performance.
Project Hail Mary. An addictive listen!
Red Rising
Ready player one audio book is really well done and fun
Someone on here recommended “how to murder your employer” to me as an audiobook and I loved it!!
His Majesty’s Dragon by Naomi Novik, historical fiction with dragons and the audiobooks are great
