I need a book suggestion for a gift

I am trying to find a book to buy my boyfriend but I'm short on ideas. He and I both love reading fantasy but he's a lot picky with it than I am. He absolutely LOVES The Kingkiller Chronicles and The Witcher series. He read and liked all the Dune books and enjoys Madeline Miller's books. But he didn't like Wizard of The Earthsea a bit. He is also not into the idea of reading Lord of The Rings (unfortunately) and Game of Thrones. And, well, he didn't seem into Discworld either.

I'm stuck on ideas. I'm not sure if Sanderson's books would be a good idea because I haven't read any of his work because it's really expensive here in my country. Please help! I really need some suggestions.
