I’m an incoming college freshman planning to major in statistics, and I’d love to get a preview of the subject before I start my studies. Can anyone recommend statistics-related books that are easy to understand and not too heavy on theory? Ideally, something engaging and casual to read rather than just a textbook. Thanks in advance!

How to Lie with Statistics by Darrell Huff

*The Cartoon Guide to Statistics* by Larry Gonick – seriously, it’s hugely helpful and quite funny too.
