Hey everyone, I’m getting my girlfriend a book series for her birthday, but she’s struggling to pick one. She was originally going to go with Fourth Wing, but now that she realizes the series isn’t complete, she doesn’t want to wait for the final books to come out.
She’s looking for a completed series and isn’t a huge fan of excessive spice. She’s considering Throne of Glass, but isn’t 100% sure. Any recommendations for a great fantasy/dystopian/sci-fi series that she can binge from start to finish? Thanks in advance!

You could give Mistborn Era 1 by Brandon Sanderson a go, completed trilogy – minimal spice, excellent world building and magic system. I loved this series and was my entry into Sandersons books. There are more books that come afte Era one, and I believe those are still being written, but the first three tell a complete story.
How about the Scholomance trilogy, starting with A Deadly Education, by Naomi Novik? The trilogy is complete and moves at a quick pace for easy binging, and there is romance but only a little spice. The books are also a lot of fun, especially the main character.
