I’m looking for a book that has an anti-hero. I have enjoyed the Dexter books, Moon Knight, and Deadpool. The book doesn’t have to be gory but I do enjoy dark themes. (I really enjoyed red dragon & silence of the lamb). I’ve been scouring good reads and this sub and I haven’t found my next good read. TYIA

The Ripley books by Patricia Highsmith should suit your needs. Starting with The Talented Mr. Ripley. To my mind much better than any of the film / tv versions.
*Ninth House* by Leigh Bardugo!
I haven’t personally read it but my friend who loves Moon Knight and Venom loved What If by Mike Chen. It’s a What If Mark Spector was host to Venom.
Check out *Between Two Fires* by Christopher Buehlman.
