Books that cover the rise of putins oligarch in Russia to educate myself in the midst of the current political climate in the USA.

I know very little about Putins transition to power but am hearing its runs parallel to what Elon & Trump are pulling currently in the US.

Does anyone have any book suggestions about the similarities of these two power shifts. Or simply one that could educate me about Putins transition to power?
