I have a 3.5 who loves to read! We read aloud to her every night and she also flips through books on her own. We recently got into reading a chapter a night of beginning chapter books. We’re almost finished with the Mercy Watson series. She likes it because it has pictures and the pig is so silly. I like it as a mom because the chapters are short to keep her attention or we can read more if she’s really into it and there’s nothing scary in the books.
What’s next? I know I loved Junie B Jones but I think I was closer to 5 or 6 when I read those with my mom. I was thinking maybe Charlotte’s Web? She loves anything princess, girly, and animals.
