I've been looking for a book that reaches the level of Dr. Bird's for a few months and haven't found anything that comes close. I absolutely loved seeing the story through James' perspective and the way the author took on James' mental health struggles. If it helps, All the Bright Places is a book I think is on the level of Dr. Bird's, so anything similar to those.
