Been in a bit of a slump lately and looking for recs to pull me out. Looking for something that is maybe on the shorter side (less than 350 pgs), propulsive, and that I won’t be able to put down. Want something I stay up all night reading.
I read across all genres, but my favorite niche is surrealism; love when something is just a little ✨off✨.
Bonus points for books from outside the US.
My favorite authors:
-Murakami
– Tolstoy
– Arundhati Roy
– Dostoyevsky
Recent 5 ⭐️ reads:
– Our Wives Under the Sea; Julia Armfield (anything like this would be 🧑🍳🤌🏼💋)
– I Who Have Never Known Men; Jacqueline Harpman
– Klara and the Sun; Ishiguro
Appreciate any recs!
