Suggest me a biography or autobiography of a spiritual/religious leader that found spirituality or religion later in life

I am looking for a biography or autobiography of spiritual leaders who found spirituality or religion later in life. Bonus points if they grew up in the West.

I really enjoyed "Being Ram Dass" and "Dipa Ma", who are both spiritual leaders that started seriously walking the spiritual path in their mid to late 30s. I am not interested in books about leaders who grew up seriously walking the spiritual path (e.g the Dalai Lama, Autobiography of a Yogi)
