Here’s some great books that would certainly not be appreciated by the kinds of people who ban books:
*The Jakarta method* by Vincent Bevins
*Washington bullets* by Vijay Prashad
*What is antiracism and why it means anticapitalism* by Arun Kundnani
*Capitalism* by Arundhati Roy
*Liberalism* by Domenico Losurdo
*Black Marxism* by Cedric Robinson
*Black against empire* by Bloom and Martin

I have been picking up as many queer books as I possibly can for this very reason
Well, the classics are 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Handmaid’s Tale.
That said, I don’t really know what would be banned in the US (I’m from the UK), but those have themes that lend themselves to being banned/censored.

All of Noam Chomsky and Chris Hedges’ political work.
Or one can continue to ignore reality. Your call.
The likelihood of them banning books for retail purchase is slim to none. Book banning has traditionally been in schools.
